Surrogacy

What is surrogacy?
Surrogacy can be the subject of virulent and controversial debates on the ethics of the method, as well as on the civic registration of children born abroad through surrogacy.
Surrogacy is a reproductive technique in which a woman (known as a “surrogate”) carries a couple's unborn child so that it can develop in her uterus. The egg may come from the child's genetic mother, from an egg donation or directly from the surrogate mother – this practice is not legal worldwide.
While everyone is free to form their own opinion on this subject, it must be mentioned that this practice is not allowed in some countries. As a result, we will not be providing any practical information about surrogacy.
